Yeah worth a shot. I went to try Cruise for the first time in mine last week, and I was like.. unavailable? why? Started clicking some buttons, and it was able to activate with the lane assist, it felt strange as it tried to wander back in forth on it's own, (not used to those kind of systems)...
Call me Odd. On the brink of 40 years old. I have had a thing for JDM and modified import vehicles all my life. What drew me to this Taco was the styling and the guilty pleasure was the hood scoop. It's aggressive, stylish, and shows some personality. My inner "ricer" at heart, lmao. I am...
You're not alone. I noticed that this morning after I remote started mine. I was kind of confused. Had to go into the settings under connected devices and manually connect to the phone lol
The only thing I've really noticed on mine is it's sluggish to shift into 8th. You gotta be driving pretty quick for it to engage, definitely faster than our limits around here. I find anything cruising under 94kmh/58mph it doesn't always want to click down into 8th, you kinda gotta feather the...
I ordered +35s, with 285/75(or 70)/17s they apparently have about a 1 inch poke, and almost the perfect fitment if you're not looking to be aggressive on the poke.
I haven't received them yet as they're on a bit of a back order, about 3 ish weeks.
I think we'll all be taken care of in the long run, it sucks its showing it's ugly face at random, the issue I believe is still in quite it's infancy stage and I bet they're still trying to sort everything out that's why for right now the TSB basically says no f'ing around just replace any that...
Most people are saying the best course of action right now is to not even mention the TSB or anything, just to go in and let them know you're experiencing some strange transmission behavior, and have them "look at it" or try and replicate the issue. It'll be logged/recorded, and the more issues...
Grabbed my trusty 10mm this afternoon and tightened them both up. Top was embarrassingly loose and the bottom one was was loose as well. Tightened em both up to .. good enough lol
Surprise surprise, noise gone
The OEM air cleaners and intakes on turbocharged vehicles are always a major restriction. Sure they may draw the air from the same source. But, they're full of restrictive baffling and silencers to quiet the charge. Most people don't want to hear intake noises. Take your stock airbox cover off...
Just noticed in the last couple days when I open and close the drivers door it started sounding loose.. like something was clicking/and knocking a bit, all the other doors were fine..
Upon further investigation this morning, I discover the nuts on the check strap where it attaches to the door...
Not sure if this has been mentioned before but how about an unlock button on the (non powered) tailgate handle, double pressing the fob is slightly inconvenient to unlock it, always say "damnit" to myself when I grab the handle and it's locked lol
Nothing fancy yet, just took delivery last week. 08/24 build date. TRD Sport Premium 6ft. Have some Baja designs fogs on the way, and a bed cover to install today. Method wheels on order (few weeks for inventory to come in) Air dam has been removed since. Loving it so far !
