I'm at 10K miles and my shifts are smooth but recently I've developed a weird shudder around 1800rpm when I'm just lightly on the gas. Feels like a torque converter shudder but I'm not sure. Not even going to attempt to take it to the dealer because I know they'll just blow me off.
I’m in the range but so far my transmission is fine at 9k miles.
Do you need to have one of the check engine codes to get the replacement? Will the codes always pop up or could I still have a code without actually having a check engine light?
I think there is a lot of paranoia about the transmissions. I'm at 9k miles and mine is super smooth. I will say it took a few thousand miles for mine to learn my driving habits but all is good now.

I rotated tires and changed the oil at home at 5k miles. I plan to take the truck in to Toyota for the 10k and 20k oil changes but I'll also do the 15k at home with oil change.
I have a set, I don’t think they help much but I’m definitely noticing less spray when driving in the rain which was the main reason why I got them in the first place. If you’re truly after protection, I would get the full size flaps.
