The first allocation did not have an orange OR my dealer could get. Ordered it as part of their second allocation and it was accepted.
April 8 ordered (day of the solar eclipse) Solar Octane Off Road
May they let me know it was accepted.
August 11 expected delivery with up to 10 days...
Is drilling required for these? If so Iām good with the prop.
My old American cars required neither a prop rod or hydraulic shocks that would fail. I remember in the 80ās first seeing imports with prop rods and thinking, āhow cheapā. Suppose I was right as it became pretty much the standard.
I didnāt like the way the choices Toyota gave us in Canada worked. My first choice was red and only available on the Sport Premium. I went with Solar Octane, as I ordered an Off Road with 6ā box. However itās quite rare and Iāve also thought of going with my next choice of blue crush If I...
I donāt have mine yet in Canada. Not till August. I ordered it in April, it was part of the dealerās second allocation, the first allocation sold out.
Hereās two issues I have seen:
Some issues have popped up and as mentioned, desperate click bait seekers have made crazy claims. Trying to...
90% of the time, no. I do in my job sometimes get on gravel logging roads or dirt roads that can have hidden rocks, dips & washouts. Also some places I like to go for re/re can have washouts or road construction a lot.
Looks like a cool place. Reminds me of places Iāve been when I was younger. Thanks for posting, now I wish my OR was here even more. Itās not coming until August!
Two motives at play here:
1 - desperate clickbaiters looking for validation.
2 - the 3rd Gen has been made obsolete in all aspects, a resulting downward trend in resale values is coming and it makes people feel better to dump on the 4th Gen.
Hot dang that is sweet. One of the negatives of living in Canada, my TRD Off Road is not being delivered till late August and in the US people are getting their Trailhunter and Proās.
The super rare Solar Octane may have to do with it as I could have had a black or white one.
Long read but @oxi explained it perfectly. Similar story, I make good money and do not apologize. Never called in sick expect 2 occasions in 26 years - once for a cornea transplant and once for catching Covid.
Iāve had a Millennial ask me why I work so long at one place, he moves on after 2...
Probabaly different for different regions. If I were to do a YouTube video it would report for my region:
Most 2024 Tacomas are arriving pre sold.
They are selling for MSRP, havenāt heard of any over MSRP or under MSRP.
A lot of used Gen 3ās about to come onto the market.
Currently there...
Great write up. Iām awaiting a standard bed (6ā) Off Road in Solar Octane also in the PNW. Very rare truck currently, even to find an online pic. Unfortunately Iām in my dealersecond allocation, due August 11.
I may have gone with a new Colorado now but only a 5ā option killed it.
You are...
i do understand that, but will it be subscription too after 3 years or is it good forever like the old trucks? Sorry I do not have my truck yet, dealer tells me August.
I donāt pay for subscribing to a vehicle I own. So no subscriptions for me when I get it.
I may not even try the free trials.
My 2012 Ram had remote start and no subscription š. Is there still aftermarket remote starts like we had back in the day?
I will allow Toyota to pay me to test...
