I poked around in the vehicle settings and while I could see settings for the door lock/unlock, I couldn't find anything on the beeping. Where do I find it?
Am I the only one who thinks that the ECO gauge is backwards? I assumed that a bigger green bar meant that I was using less gas (being "green") when in reality, the bar goes up the harder you hit the gas.
I've owned several Toyota hybrids and they all have some sort of ECO display that swing...
If you're running CarPlay (or Android Auto?), you can click on the black Toyota logo & it will bring up the main truck menus. Click on the music notes and it'll bring up the audio screen where you can select any audio source. It's two clicks, so not too much of a PIA but you're right that it's...
On other Toyota vehicles I've owned, if you have ECO mode engaged, it ignores your environmental settings to save gas. Make sure ECO is off and see if that changes it.
I'm new at this so I apologize in advance....
What differentiates the 16 soft roll-up tonneau covers on the RealTruck website? Why would I buy the Pro X15 over the Lo Pro that seems to be recommended by many of the reviewers?
I have never seen a company with so many similar products like this...
I used to have a removable car stereo head unit back in the day that I used to pop out and bring into the house every time I got home. The one time I ran into a store to pick up something and didn't eject it for the 3 or 4 minutes I was in there was enough time for someone to steal it. :)
If I...
My dealer said that they've already had 4 JBL speakers stolen from Tacomas on their lot. I want to lock mine down if I can or if not, maybe disguise it? I'm thinking maybe I can pry off the grill, put in an adhesive rim and then push on a larger cover from a regular car speaker to cover the...
Is this held closed by the tailgate? Will the locked tailgate stop anyone from opening it up? I'm planning to take this tailgating at football games so I'd prefer a way to slow down anyone looking for a new grill or maybe my after-game steaks. :)
I would love to get the Fabric/plastic one from a TRD OR for my TRD Sport. I don't plan to do any offroading, which is why I bought the Sport, nor do I go out when it snows. Not worth the hassle with all the idiots on the road during a dusting. I'm just looking for the better aerodynamics of the...
When they strap them down, they don't want the tires getting squashed flat and possibly damaged so they overinflate them. I've been told that this was more important when shipping vehicles overseas but I guess they do it for truck shipments too.
I think the OR skid plate will work for this application. I just have to find the PN for it. I searched the Toyota website for hours with no luck. The OR skid plate has a lip so that leading edge is not exposed.

You can see where the two bolts are on both...
Just as a "heads up", I just picked up my TRD Sport in NH last week and I checked the tire on the ride home and it was 51 in each tire. I was pretty pissed but not surprised. Both of my daughters' new cars had the same thing happen. One was a Rav4 and the other a Mazda 3. I actually asked the...
I just picked up a TRD Sport and I'm considering taking off the chin scoop but I don't like the look of the Sport skid plate afterward. Looks like little air scoops. I went back to the dealer and looked at a TRD Off Road and saw that the skid plate on that has a lip at the front to reduce drag...
