Yep! The asking price was $59k+, NO DEALER MARKUP, and NO ADD-ONS at the dealership. Basically got all the PIO free + a discount on the TRD Off Road Premium Package. I’ll be buying from them in the future. (My friend sells for Toyota and said his dealership couldn’t even touch that price - “jump on it”.)

Thanks, the reason I asked was because market value is a term dealer usually use as an inflated price over the Msrp from the manufacturer on the window sticker. It looked like they marked it up over Msrp to 59 and then marked it back down to Msrp. Dealers are sneaky like that. In any case happy for you. Great truck.

I'm confused. My local dealers are selling at a minimum $2600-$3000 below SRP and that's before negotiation. For example the TRD Offroad with Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism and premium package is SRP $55,239 and OTD before any negotiation is $51,567 or $3,672 off SRP.

Dang they sure load up them Trailhunters with add on’s. I’d be in favor of the PPF and bed liner, floor mats, and edge guards, because they are all functional utility that I’d have to buy after the purchase, but the rest is mostly profit margin, or attempted profit margin. I only had bed liner, floor mats, wheel locks(like someone’s gonna steal these OEM wheels) and color matched door edge guards.

That’s how I got a few grand off the Trailhunter. Told them I did not want half the extras and I’d rather them take the accessories off. They did not want to take off any of the accessories so they reduced the price anyway and threw in the extra warranty’s I wanted. I’ve owned several Toyota’s and each has been more reliable than the next, but this new hybrid engine seems awfully complicated, so the added warranty was a requirement for my piece of mind.

Very much model and location dependent. Some models you can get some really good discounts on, but others not so much.

There were only 4 Trailhunters on lots within 200 miles of my house when I purchased, but only 1 dealership was willing to take an offer less than MSRP. I made the same offer at 2 different dealerships for pretty much the same truck, one laughed and said “we don’t mark down the Trailhunters or TRD Pros”. The other dealership took my offer.
