Only code that came back in Techstream was an O2 sensor. But if that was actually the only problem youād think theyād tell me. All Iāve gotten so far is them asking me if I ever ran it completely out of fuel
I had a similar experience when my Tacoma Sport had 1000 miles.
They would pop on, then after turning the truck off they would go away.
Then next time driving they would pop back on. Made an appointment with the dealer, by the time I got there they popped off.
They said it would have to be having the warning message showing to correctly diagnose, even though the computer was storing them.
They said next time they appear come directly to the dealer, so they could pull.
I now have over 12,500 miles on the truck and itās never thrown the messages again. So what ever it was at the time went away.
Due to the amount of time it took them I am skeptical, but after 3.5 hours they told me it was an air flow sensor that needed to be replaced. So I go back again next week to have it replaced. I disconnected my battery before my 50 mile drive home and the warnings did. It come back on. However, after about 5 miles of driving this morning, all the same warnings came back up.
