Thanks yall for all of the responses. They wouldn't buy me out of my truck since I put a good amount down, so they'd just be washing me out of my lease, and the market isn't as good as they were convincing me so after some shopping around, it doesn't make sense to jump into a "new" 2024. I love my 2025 despite it not having all the features I want and going to a higher tier and paying way more and wasting my down payment is nonsense unless I find someone with a steal.

were they offering to buy out all of your original purchase costs? or was it just their normal lowball offers that they will generously allow you to roll into a new one?

They offered me 38k for my 42k truck. It would allow me to roll over around 16-18k into a new one

That’s basically what they’re doing for me. Paid 43.1k selling price for my truck and offering me 40.9k. But it’s a lease so it just adds up to me getting out of it with no equity.

After a week of haggling, I got one. I got them to fully pay off my truck (they listed it at 2,000 more than the selling price I got for it lol) and my payments are only going up by $48 a month, and I put nothing down. Even lease brokers couldn't get to the payment I got so I'm pretty happy with it.
