I can't speak for all other trims, but on the PRO (since that's the one I'm getting) and TH, I've noticed minor changes like the front recovery hooks are painted red, a 4th prewired aux switch made available and a new Mudbath color. (I believe the height of the front seats have been raised up a bit...not sure where I saw that; might need to ask a buddy of mine who works for Toyota.) Other than minor tweaks here and there, its practically the same truck as the 24s.

Patience is key! For me, I've been patiently waiting since last June 2024 to get my hands on an Underground PRO. Being on any waitlist sucks! Seeing everyone enjoying their new trucks while I live vicariously through their adventures. At first, I started with a small crate to store all the parts and accessories I've accumulated since last June. Now it has slowly flooded into my parent's garage...kinda hard hiding a Seibon carbon fiber hood under my bed, lol. 😅
Just use the Toyota New Inventory website. You can look at dealers in a 500 mile radius, from any US location, and likely find your truck in a month or less. Local wait lists aren't worth it.
After 9 months of waiting for a local trailhunter, I found one in Amarillo, called, and drove 6 hours same day and picked it up in 30 minutes.

The temptation is there lol, i actually found a 2024 to exact build im currently waiting for in a 2025 model, …….as of now im at dealers mercy for the phone call that they have a vin# on truck being built , in color, options, and its starting to feel like a unicorn hunt, nothing unusual , but the hybrids are coming in very slow , the color is now hard to find amongst the normal, black, underground ,white and silver ……….however there is the exact truck i want ?? Dammit , i looked the vin up and it does fall into the catagory of the trans issues ………but has the issues been reduced, not sure .
November is sat down at my dealer , expressed the exact truck i hoped for, gave a $1000.00 deposit
{refundable }. And everyday i check websites, dealerships incoming listings and this damn truck isnt showing up, perhaps im just restless, i dont know, New trucks come with warrenty, and if it blows up its covered , so im sitting here seeing other guys experiances and it seems kind of minimal, whereas other guys are running smooth, ugh ! Shit…lol im very ,very tempted to just walk in ,write the check, get my truck and cross my fingers, What do you guys think.
The 2024 will have a price reduction i know , its a left over and this truck has been on their lot since november, so i will get a deal on it , What do you guys think

Back to your question about the 2024 buy that is sitting on the lot but has a VIN within the TSB...
I can only relay what I was told when I was buying my TRD PRO. The first one I was looking at on the lot fell within the TSB, the dealer told me that Toyota would not allow them to sell it until the transmission was replaced and it was on order and they were waiting. It had no issues and only had 1.5 miles on it but Toyota policy was for units not sold replace the tranny. It just so happens I found one not listed under the TSB and I bought that one.

Interesting. My Pro was already under that TSB and my dealer had no problem selling it to me.

As I said above, the transmission is the same from the 2024 and the 2025. They fixed the problem with swarf left in them during the manufacturing process. Metal cuttings.

The only downside to a 2024 over a 2025 is a reduced resale value because it's a "year older."

Hi All, I may have not been clear in my questions. I am not asking so much about bug fixes, I have a late 2024 and have had ZERO problems or complaints. I love this truck. My question centers on any changes/features that may be different. Any new options and things like that?
Same! Mine was built in September. I think they got on the transmission thing early so late 24MY should be in the clear.

I think the only change for 2025 is paint colors (mud bath + terra moving to other trims) and maybe some slight alterations to what they offer for aftermarket accessories.

My 25 TRD Pro does not have the HUD. Just an fyi as I didn't even noticed until I drove it 20p miles home. Not that it would of made me change my mind

You are extremely fortunate to know someone with insider knowledge who can be trusted. There are far too many stories on this forum and others about salespeople who have no clue about the products they’re selling and service departments that outright fabricate information or lie to cover their incompetence.

I agree , comes down to people not caring and just being full of shit….im honest and have always had good repore with him, and he will be in charge of my services. As he always has been,
The fact he was open and agreed with concerns about issues he agreed , early on it was an issue and toyota moved on it fast and corrected, its sad so many dealers try and bluff people just to sell …… i guess its a good thing if you have a service team you can trust, and feel comfortable with
