Video on Falken vs KO3 size. With certain offsets I think the Falken could rub as it’s so wide — and I learned they def rub with the Canadian mud flaps. Width also causes rubbing.

Not a dumb question at all. Experience is the only way to figure out offsets. One of the first guys on the forum to do aftermarket wheels last year went 0 offset with 285/70R17 on stock suspension and yes, it did rub. You’ll probably need 1.5” lift in the front or take off the crash plate for it not to rub. Most guys who are doing 285/70R17 with stock suspension are going with a +20 to 25 offset wheel.

I went 285/70/17 Wildpeak AT4’s on the stock Off-Road wheels and they fit without rubbing. Then went to a 17x8 +15 with the same 285/70/17’s and added a 1.5inch peak suspension spacer only in the front to level it out a bit while still maintaining about 3/4in of front rake. Still no rub at all with the new RRW’s.
