Anyone aware if the 4th gen BOV can be upgraded, or added. Even a diagram of the engine and it's location would be appreciated. What mounts it uses, etc.

Blow off valve. For turbo noises.BOV?
I know the Tundra had an electronic stepper motor wastegate, but the 2025 Tacoma I have clearly has a standard diaphragm style with a 2 port boost control solenoid. Not that it really makes a difference when upgrading the BOV. If you were to upgrade the BOV, you'd want one that still recirculates. On engines that you run a vented BOV, it's best to switch from MAF to speed density so that metered air doesn't escape and cause a rich condition on throttle lift. It’s got an electronic waste gate, I believe a bov would cause some issues and make it run like shit. Then again, I have seen videos of them on the new tundra and they also have electronic waste gates.
Can count on the Subaru guy to know!I would not, this is more for a performance car and even then I would not chose to go atmospheric. A lot of air, in between shifts or letting off accelerator, gets circulated back into the air intake system after the MAF.
