4th Gen Hybrid TRD Off-Road Westcott Design Install HELP!

Has anyone put the Wescott 2.5in Spacer lift on a 2024 IforceMax? I see ot on SR5 and other offroads, but not the Max version. So me and my buddy have the strut out and we are to the part to remove the ring that retains the dust shield to the shock shaft. However, in the westcott video with a few hits, it dislodged. But ours seem to be completely connected.

Anyone have any tips or tricks? I just don't want to keep banging on this thing if not. I did call them and told them I had the max version. The guy said it should be good. But wondering if he was mistaken. Let me know if anyone has completed this step on a 24 offroad iforce max!

It's on there with red loctite. Put it in a vice with aluminum clamps or something similar to avoid scratching the shaft! Then you'll probably need heat. Either a high powered heat gun or a propane torch should work. Once I got it hot it came right off. Don't forget to use loctite again when you put it back together.

Just keep in mind that all of these “collar lifts“ reduce suspension travel and make the ride slightly firmer.

Wouldn’t a longer shock compliment this lift?
