2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road
Hello everyone!
Maybe some of you have seen this “quick guide”, as I’m calling it, that I have posted in a few Facebook groups.

The first page is just a handful of common questions and issues people have brought up frequently. The second page is a list of vendors, a link to their site and bullet points of what they sell. I’m hoping to eventually have discounts for some of these vendors, which may be more tied to the Facebook group I’m an admin of.

Please let me know if you think any questions, issues(with straightforward fixes), or vendors should be added to this, link is down below. Also, here’s a photo of my TRD OR, Thanks!

It is designed to have play in the glove box if passengers knees contact the door.

I think a good link under "What size tire fits" would be this one. It's a great site that shows actual pics of the 2024 and 2025's with actual wheel and tire sets so you can see what your truck might look like. It looks like users are adding pics frequently and it was (for me) a great way to visualize things. Plus you can filter by lift, rubbing, stock, etc.

Excellent! I’ll add that in there. Thank you for the recommendation.

While I'm thinking about it, there are tons of posts about the OEM mud flaps for these trucks. Typical stock flaps in the US (when installed) are $60 on the window sticker and really don't provide a lot of coverage. See this post. In summarizing all the posts it looks like Toyota has at least three different mud flaps for the Tacoma. The first one I mentioned. A second one (PK389-35R00-P1) is wider and works for the SR & SR5 without the 'bolt-on' flare you see on higher trim levels. The third (PK389-35R50-P1) is as wide as the bolt-on flare (TH, Pro, etc).
The last two are sold in sets of 4 from the dealer and seem to be made in Canada prompting many members to refer to them as the "Canadian Mud Flaps".

Oh interesting. I was completely unaware of that many different mud flaps but it makes sense. I can add those in there as well. I’ll maybe add it into the common questions section and refer to the vendor list for aftermarket ones as well.

I like the list so far, but why not just copy and paste into a sticky post here? Disregard if that’s already done/planned.

I’ll be honest I browse the forums a lot but never post on here so I’m not 100% sure how it all works. I’m tech savvy so I could figure it out. Having to not update multiple documents is better as well since I will be updating from time to time. Maybe once the updating slows down I can just post it as a thread.

Happen to know of a picture comparison anywhere?
I just installed the pk389-35r00-p1 to replace the original US mud flaps. Without a level/lift they required trimming on 17x8.5 +25 wheels with a 33

What did you have to trim? There are some pics in this thread but if you look around there are 3-4 mudflap posts on here some of which have pics.

Thank you so much. I truly appreciate the kind words. It really started out because I see so many of the same questions posted in Facebook groups and evolved. This helping people out is my goal! I hope it can keep growing as people have more questions and issues(hopefully not).

I also like this list. As more people discover it, it'll grow. I have a few ideas to add.
