So, less than a year and I got rear ended. Bumper had a small ding, and insurance covers it so I got a quote. A whopping $1700! For that price, I went and picked up the Addictive Desert Designs Stealth Rear Bumper at just under $1400.
Not much to the original, three plastic pieces and a lot of electronics. The new one is significantly heavier, and should withstand minor impacts without complaint. One thing to remember is obtaining the $30 sensor covers in the correct color before hand. The corners are sensors as well, but lightly painted black and they seem to function okay.

Because some of you will ask, the other additions in the photos are as follows:
Baja Designs lights
Prinsu Rack
Taco Vinyl Lower Bedside Decals
24” of PPF
Method 305 17x8.5 +25 (original OR fenders)
BFG 285x75x17
ReadyLift leveling kit
Tint & Wrap
Letters in tailgate
Autobull Side steps via Amazon (temporary)

Pulling the tailpipe next week and the side steps will be replaced with an electric drop later.

That looks great (and a nice build overall)!

I wonder if ADD and Rago are owned by the same people. The install instructions are almost verbatim the same between the two, even using the same pictures. Even if they aren't the same company the instructions were certainly written by the same person.

Personally I think the ADD bumper looks a bit better but the Rago bumper is a bit cheaper so for me it would be a tough call between the two. Either way they both seem like very nice products.

ADD, DV8 and Rago all claim the same address ( 555 E Queen Creek Rd #A, Chandler AZ )so they're either all owned by the same group or they're just a few dudes who share a fab shop/office.

I lke the ADD bumper better too. I don't particularly like the front-and-center branding that the other two shops put on their stuff. Less is more for me when it comes to branding.

I have the hoop front and I hate it. It was good construction but so many holes were off it made it a nightmare. It took 2 hours longer than it needed and you still can’t get to the clutch for the winch. The shackle mounts are worthless as well since they’re too small.

I’ll never buy from them again.

That sounds awful! However, of the available front bumpers, that one looks great. I keep waiting for someone to make a reasonably attractive brush guard to protect the headlights. I had a nice one for my 99’

I’ve noticed several ABN brothers in the forum, most much younger than me. If I recall, you and your son both have 4G’s. That’s got to keep the modifications progressing.
