Just installed mine and it was a no go for me. Can’t even get the button for Mts to light up. I didn’t disconnect the battery so I will try disconnecting for a bit then reconnect and see if anything changes.

I got mine the other day and installed it. I have the TRD Sport and it would not work the MTS or crawl control. I also tried disconnecting battery. Too bad! I'll keep it and hope someone will figure out how to get it to work.

If this works on sports why not on limited?
They are basically pretty much same on the transmission and 4X4 setting
The limited has AWD and not part time 4 wheel drive. Totally different system

Only hybrid limited is AWD. Non hybrid limited is same as sport except adjustable shocks.

Ok, I've read through all the replies in this post, am I correct that the original poster is the only person that has been able to get this to work? It sounds like a good upgrade if it really works but so far only one person???

I was never able to get it to work. Tossed it on a shelf in the garage for future remedies.

I still stand by my original opinion that Toyota isn't going to simply allow a <$200 part to allow access to the MTS abilities. More than likely you need the panel + some sort of module (if the capability are only those two parts).

It was posted in another thread as an observation during an unrelated topic.

There'd be two steps to this if one brings the information together. First, changing the dial as OP did. Second, connecting to the truck via TIS software and updating the computer to activate the MTS setup itself.

Per that post software can be had for <$20 for a week's access on the European version, or $70 for the US version (can't remember if that's for a week or month). But you also need a $$$ supported ODB connector cable.

So I suspect if you really wanted to do this, you're in it for about $800 + time (dial, connector, software rental). Each person would have to decide if the feature is worth it to go after.

The manual states that the "underbody" image is a delayed replay of the front grille camera's footage, not an additional undermount camera.
