Question for new and future Trailhunter owners. Do you think aftermarket will come up with a more reasonable full bed rack add-on to the current ARB Sports Bar. The OEM is ridiculously priced.

Let me re-phrase the question. Do you think aftermarket will come up with a bolt on solution to turn the OEM sports rack into a full size bed rack. I know that there is an OEM solution. It seems to be a waste to not utilize what’s currently there.

Been asking myself the same question and tired of waiting for when or if. Kind of frustrating to discard the current piece that may eventually and should have a piece to build from it 🤷

There's only ~3 pieces that can be purposed for the HD rack. My guess is...no. Disassemble the sport bar completely and you'll see the back rake pillars, molle triangles, etc. 2/3rd the weight are scrap.

It would be hard to convince us to build a rack to suit the sport bar. The styling would be difficult to match and the design process would be harder since you have to factor in another manufacturer's parts into your own when it comes to load ratings and such. After all that, it wouldn't save the consumer any money so they would probably be better off selling the sport bar used and completely swapping for a cohesive bed rack.
