I was told by my dealer in the Calgary area a few weeks ago that the arrival of my Tacoma I have an allocation for is scheduled for March. Still haven’t received an update on a build date. Anyone know how long it takes approximately from build date to delivery up in Canada? Also do the dealers have access to real time updates via an insider Toyota webpage to specific allocations?

If they do, I doubt they'll tell you lol. Toyota Canada seems to be Toyota's red headed step child, left in the dark.

When I talked to my sales person today he said "expects to see it somtime end of Feburary, it's scheduled for delivery then" same thing he told me November which I take as they have no real way of tracking vins allocated to them like that states do. Damn US got a Domino's pizza tracker for their vehicles and we seem to be left in the dark under the "you get it when you get it" clause.

Even when my friend was trying to buy a 4Runner she waited months, over 6 mont hs and the dealer wasn't even able to tell when they expected it to arrive, could've been the next day, could've been 10 months from then. So atleast we have a general timeline I guess

What’s going on with deliveries to Alberta and western provinces? I’ve seen maybe one dealer in all of Alberta getting a truck where eastern Canada dealers seem to be getting them daily now. Starting to think something might be wrong in the supply chain to western Canada

I'm in Alberta. They're expecting their first truck end of February. Calgary is after getting some same as Saskatchewan I believe. It's no surprise the east gets them first. Afterall, Canada IS just Ontario to many folk lol

Talked to me dealer today. He's still expecting delivery Feburary but the manager wants to showcase the truck for a couple weeks as it's the first Tacoma to hit the lot so I SHOULD take delivery March, and it's the exact trim transmission and color I wanted. Definitely excited to get some clarification sense November

It didn't even sound like the dealer had access to such information when I was talking to them. More of a get an rough ETA and when it shows up it shows up kind of deal. Unfortunate, it would be nice to track like the states do.

That's unfortunate. Has this been everyone else's experience with Canadian allocations / dealer updates?

I got text from my Alberta dealer a couple days ago and my off road Premium is set to arrive 3rd week of March from the text. A few weeks before that when they checked I still wasent allocated the truck. They also have a sport that showed up a couple days ago that one sales man had ordered and I went and checked it out.

I had to text my AB dealer but heard back today that my Sport Premium delivery is pushed from 3rd week March to Mid April. Dang it. I have no idea if the dealer has been stringing me along or if this is a QC hold or what.
