Just saw this on YouTube today. Fang lights installation is on a Tundra but it may be relevant for the Tacoma as well? Maybe Toyota uses the same color wires in the Tacoma?

I’m wondering if you could access the “fang” “cover, front bumper hole” (part #52127G) from under the bumper peeling back the felt wheel liner and access from above the headlight. I really don’t want to take the bumper off.
I just replaced my grille, shutter, and one fang. Nope with the way the tabs are, it would be almost impossible to get them out without removing the front.

Good news is that once you learn the process it's an easy removal and replacement. Putting it back on was super easy compared to the initial learning process of taking it off.

I installed the fang fog lights using the Tundra’s video

Did yours come with a red wire that goes to accessory power or straight to the battery? Mine goes to accessory and I still haven't installed it. Does anyone know if I can tap any other power instead of going to the fuse box in the cabin?

Red wire is power you can tap into the turn signal beige/pink wire. So red (power)and yellow (turn signal) wires together tapped to the turn signal. But it’s best to route the red to the fuse box using add a fuse 10amp

Thanks! Will do that once I have time to install.

Yes, if someone could post the signal wiring, that would be great. I have them installed and used a fuse tap in the box near the wiper fluid that only runs on accessory. I haven't hooked up the signal wires yet because I haven't had time to explore which wire controls the signal.

I like these lights but had some questions for anyone who has them:

1. Can you adjust the lights to be as shown in the pic? With 3 horizontal yellows lights with a white vertical? It looks from their video that the yellows only come on in a turn signal.

2. Can you disable the 'sequential cascade' blinking with the turn signals?

3. Can you disable the 'light show' when they first turn on?

I'm looking at Amazon item #(ASIN) B0DD6LC7L6

Did you just want the cascade yellow turn signals not go on? If you want to disable the light show than don’t connect any wires. What exactly did you want these lights to do?

I don't have this exact unit but based on the ones I bought I can safely say there is no adjustability unless as Suzay says you just don't connect the main red power line but I can't say for certain they'd even function at all with just the turn signal power connected. So, I can't say definitively but I think the answer to all three of your questions is, no.

I think the picture just shows all the lights on for the sake of being able to see how they light up. They probably took the picture mid-flash with the hazards on (or just photoshopped it).

Actually if you just connect the yellow wire only to the turn signals they do work only while signaling. Another member on here did his lights and they do come on when drl/turn signal are used. Like the picture mentioned. Dan Jenkins YouTube “2024 Tacoma front end lights”

I'd like them to come on, and stay on, as DRL as shown in the image.

That's what I suspected. Thanks
