yes sir, checked and double checked before I turned the power on. I didn’t have the engine lights before I wasn’t getting power to the head unit. I checked the fuses and then I got those .initially I just didn’t get power to the radio.

A question for people who have already installed the Beat Sonic amp. What gain settings did you use?

The Beat Sonic install video for the Tacoma showed the rear gain straight up/down and the front straight across. So I'm was thinking they meant half way on the rear and 3/4 way on the front. But now I am wondering if that front setting was 1/4, not 3/4. I know that the front speaker on the JBL seems to dominate everything else.

Mine came a few days ago, but it is insanely cold and it will be this weekend or next week before I do my install. I plan to put it behind the screen, so hoping to nail the gain settings on the first go.

Front 1-2:00 rear 12:00. But a few turned the rear up to 1-2:00?

Thanks @MT-Taco! It does make sense to maybe try boosting the rear a bit more. But when I did that through the Toyota sound settings, I didn't think it sounded any better, and maybe even worse.

It doesn’t matter. Front and rear both use the front gain. I believe the rear on the Beatsonic is for nav, etc.

Interesting to know and that does make sense because you can adjust those sounds independently. I knew that there was more knowledge about this on the forum than I had.

I should have prefaced this by saying this is for the JBL equipped units. The standard might be different.
