I’ve been seeing a lot of ads everywhere for “Foam Cannon’s”. Is it just mass marketing or are they any good? I typically use my Harbor Freight 1750 Psi pressure washer when washing my bikes (Motocross) because it gets all of the nooks and crannies. However, I usually hand wash all of my cars and trucks to maintain the paint. They stay on the street pretty much. The only real mud is in a rain storm or a dirt road. Any useful options or experience is appreciated.

So, with a foam cannon, you never have to use a brush or mitt to clean the truck?

Griots Garage, they stand behind their stuff, only sell quality, and customer support is great. You may pay a bit more for their products but they are professional grade.

ya wet the truck , foam it , spray off the foam top to bottom, then use the two bucket method .
that sticky foam pullz alotta dirt , particles off so do not wipe it off , spray off top to bottom is important
i use inside the wheel wells as it pulls the dirt up into the foam ,now it is not gonna pull thick caked on mud off

I’ve seen these foam cannons for years, never quite got the fascination. Always give the entire vehicle a thorough rinsing with water before using the soapy mitt, respray again if it’s dried off some when you get to the next area with the mitt

I hand wash 90% of the time with a stream of water and my hand so the dirt doesn’t get rubbed across the paint. Spot clean stubborn crap. Microfiber dry and then some UV barrier shine. Foam cannon seems fun. Might have to try it..

its actually the 1st step, let it sit a few/spray. Then hand wash with 2 bucket method. I use the Griot Brilliant Finish cannon with a griot foam.
