I’m interested in mud flaps, but I’m not a fan of the rigid style ones that seem to be the most popular. I’m always concerned they’ll get ripped off or damaged while dropping over ledges. I had the OEM guards on my 3rd gen, and I’d cringe every time they scraped over rocks or concrete, so I’d like to avoid that. Anyone have a good recommendation for actual mud flaps and not the plastic guards? I was leaning towards the Ark micro guards because they still leave a decent amount of clearance, but they also don’t look super effective at keeping stuff from hitting the sides of my truck, and again, they’re rigid. I’d really appreciate any suggestions!

I ordered the Husky ones. They looked more OE and finished off. We will see how the coverage compares to stock.

I have the Canadian ones on at the moment. They look like they belong on the truck more than the ARK

I have the Rokblokz rally mud flaps on mine. They are very flexible but don't flap around while driving. They're is a good pic right in this thread of the improved coverage over stock. Glad I got mine on before winter arrived.

Check out Ark as they worked with me on a new design for the 2024 Tacoma.
Doesn't hang out as far(slightly narrower), hair shorter, and no kink on the outside edge.
So far they work great and look good IMHO.

I started with the $60 standard mudlfaps that came with my TH. Waste of my $. I then purchased much wider ones from WeatherTech (+ Bed Impactliner). Front ones fit fine, rear ones did line up correctly with the larger TH fender flares. While I got them to stay on, the gap filled up with mud and did not look right. Weathertech does have great customer service and gave me a full refund including return shipping. I think they are working on a new variant for the TH and TRD Pro, now the site shows that the current ones do not work. I then ordered the Toyota Canadian ones, these seem solid. I think the Weathertech's were a little bit wider and have no external branding. I kept then Impactliner, keeps things from moving around and it feels good on my knees when working on stuff in the bed,

Hey buddy. Good looking rig. Are you running the RB rally flaps with stock tire size? I’m debating between their high clearance flaps for added coverage with my 285/70/17 or just sticking with the rally flaps. Not sure I like how the high clearance mount up compared to the rallies. But do want the best coverage. You think the rally would provide decent coverage with a larger tire size? RokBlokz wants to see pictures with my exact set up but it doesn’t go on until next week and I want to get the flaps before they go on so I have coverage as soon as possible after they’re mounted. Thanks!
