Hi All - I see so many posts showing what can fit on a stock TRD Sport/Off Road, but nothing for a Limited with the AVS (Active Variable Suspension). Can anyone confirm that my truck will have the same fitment as a TRD Off Road w/ no mods?

First time buying wheels and tires so this is a little complicated for me

I was planning on getting

Wheels: Method 703 17x8.5 35mm offset
Tires: 285/70/R17 BFG KO3 or Falken Wildpeaks AT4W's (just haven't decided, looking for what is a quieter ride)

I can only speak partially to this, and I believe the answer will vary whether you're talking a non-hybrid or hybrid Limited.
  • Front Brakes: Ventilated disc, 13.4 inches (i-FORCE / i-FORCE MAX)
  • Rear Brakes: Ventilated disc, 12.2 inches (i-FORCE) / 13.2 inches (i-FORCE MAX)
Your rim depth and offset are all within range of factory wheel options. As references:
TRD 18-In. Flat Black Alloy Wheel (18x8, 6x139.7, 45mm offset, 95.1mm bore)
TRAILHUNTER Flat Bronze Wheel (18x18.5, 6x139.7x 20mm offset, 95.1mm bore)
LIMITED Bright Chrome Wheel (18x7.5, 6x139.7, 55mm offset, 95.1mm bore)

Both the Trailhunter and TRD Pro come with the following stock tire (again so you can compare against it): 265/70R18 Goodyear Wrangler Territory R/T tires

I hope that helps your analysis move forward.

Wow thanks for this information. This is good to have, especially for people also searching for this in the future.

I just went ahead and ordered the wheels I posted in my first post. I'm still deciding on tires (between KO3 or AT4W), more research follows!
