Chalk Tested P285/70R17 Open Countries

I chalk tested my Toyo Open Country P285/70R17 tires. The “calculator” said it would be 26 psi from the stock 30 in the increased size. My chalk test showed 33 front and 26 rear with an empty bed. Just wanted to share.

This is the way all the old timers did it. You find a flat concrete surface rub chalk about 8 inches by at least as wide as your tires tread roll over said chalk and check the pattern on your tires.. it tells you the correct air pressure you should be running.. you have to know how to read the chalk on the tires..us old timers always do it that way
