yeah, it is. i am very happy with wattage i can get out of the 2400W inverter. kind of a game changer for camping.
So you can keep the truck on all night and let it power stuff without threat of draining the starter battery, is this correct ?

no, i use the inverter to charge my 1000Whr power station (that then runs my camp system). the inverter delivers more watts than the battery is rated for charging -- at around 1300W. so i go from from 0 to 80% charge in about 30 minutes. not that i ever get to zero. it is just super easy to keep the camping battery charged.

Went with a gas Tacoma for one sole reason, Manual Transmission. I was not looking at any non-manual trims which meant I was stuck with a 5ft bed unfortunately.
Not sure why none of the manufactures have messed with manual hybrids again, Honda had the Insight and the CRZ and both cars were well received and still hold up to this day

Toyota did not make the PreRunner Xtracab in a hybrid option. I can only imagine if they did :)
