Thinking about propping the license plate down/open with the gas cap to fill the gas tank hidden behind it now makes me feel even older.

love the set up. On my drive side. Nice lil holder. Awesome that Toyota also thought of the owner that still just wanted a basic lil truck. The SR MT 4x4 could be the last of its kind.

Anybody here ever add the locking mechanism to the gas lid? I guess it would be quite the task (running the lever button to the cab, adding the lock to the lid, etc)

I’ve never owned a car that didn’t have the lever/button system to the gas lid.
