Hey guys - I get a clicking sound when steering sometimes - it’s def not all the time but when it happens it’s somewhat concerning. I can also feel it in the steering wheel. There should not be any rubbing whatsoever. Here is a video. Any idea what this is?

Does it do the same on pavement vs concrete? Sounds like the tire rubber gripping and releasing as you turn the wheel.

The tire sound is separate from the clunking - try to ignore the tire grip sound and listen to what’s happening in the background. It feels like metal rubbing against metal.

Definitely a metallic sound and not enough movement for the tire to be rubbing. What mods have you done?

My OR had something similar happening (more on the limit of the turn radius though, specifically when turning left) and I don't know why, but I removed my TRD skid plate and replaced it, like literally just took the skid plate off and then put it back on and it stopped.

Still to this day I don't know what was causing that, that removing/replacing the skid plate did something to stop it.

It for sure sounds skid plate related to me. I’ve also got a cat guard under there. It could be a stabilizer arm moving and hitting it.

I’ll crawl under there and see if it appears to be a big deal.

That definitely sounds like something on the front suspension/steering gear hitting something to make that click. I would start by just taking a careful look because it is loud enough to probably leave a mark.

I would probably also try out @maxx075's suggestion of removing and replacing the skid plate. The dealer would have that that off when they did your oil change I don't trust them to get everything back where it should be.
