Did you tap the dedicated dashcam connector in the roof pod or did you unplug your front camera module connector during this? You shouldn’t ever unplug that as it will throw all kinds of errorsdid this and now i get the error "system malfunction" whenever i put the truck in reverse. no backup camera or 360 camera now.
i didnt unplug anything. just connected right into the factory slot in the roof pod like the post says. Just went into the service menu and the cameras function doesnt even pop up.Did you tap the dedicated dashcam connector in the roof pod or did you unplug your front camera module connector during this? Sounds like you might have blown the fuse. Check the wiring and what you have plugged in. Something isn't right.i didnt unplug anything. just connected right into the factory slot in the roof pod like the post says. Just went into the service menu and the cameras function doesnt even pop up.
Any clue as to what fuse that may be? Can’t find anything related to camera.Sounds like you might have blown the fuse. Check the wiring and what you have plugged in. Something isn't right.
It's either ECU-B or ECU-DCC depending on your build date. Could also be ECU-IGR.Any clue as to what fuse that may be? Can’t find anything related to camera.
No luck on the fusesIt's either ECU-B or ECU-DCC depending on your build date. Could also be ECU-IGR.
And in case this isn't obvious, take out what you plugged into the dome light camera connector. Something is not wired right.

Hard to know beyond that without knowing what went wrong. Possibly one of the connectors above the mirror came loose during install? Otherwise worse case is the 12v shorted to neutral and fried something. No luck on the fuses
That’s the plan. Have an appt may1 and there’s no signs I was ever in the top compartment.Hard to know beyond that without knowing what went wrong. Possibly one of the connectors above the mirror came loose during install? Otherwise worse case is the 12v shorted to neutral and fried something.
Without knowing what went wrong I'd check all the fuses and then probably take it in to the dealership and plead ignorance.
