I got a 2024 Limited extended cab about four months ago. Last week I got a Samsung Galaxy S24+. I want to delete some of the apps that appear on my 14" multimedia display. Some of these apps are not even on my phone. After I delete the unwanted apps I want to add a couple from my cell phone. Does anyone have some advice or that can direct me to a YouTube video. Thanks.

It's all done through Android Auto.
Thanks, Tony. I have Android Auto installed on my phone but but I don't know how to delete apps or add apps to the multimedia screen. Is there a YouTube that explains it? Or can you elaborate? Thanks

At least on my Pixel device, Android Auto doesn't show up in the app drawer. Go into settings and then apps, then show all apps.

Select Android Auto and then "Additional settings in the app".

Scroll down to "Customize launcher" and then you can select or deselect apps you want to show on the screen.

Some apps, like Phone and Maps, are not able to be deselected (makes sense) but you can still drag them around to change the placement if you'd like.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Dan. I'll give it a shot when I go out to the truck.

I should note that these settings are only for Android Auto and will only affect what you see when your phone is plugged in and you're running AA on your screen. They are universal though, in that any changes you make in the AA app will be reflected in any car you plug your phone into.

If you're hoping to make changes to the Toyota screens outside what you see in AA when your phone is plugged in then you're probably out of luck. I don't know of any way to change the Toyota screens or apps and doubt it's possible.
