I’m laughing about this because my wife did something worse. A couple weeks after getting a new car she finally came to me and said the locks didn’t work.
It was the first vehicle she owned with Smart locks that touching the handle, unlocked the car. After 20 years of hitting the lock button on the door, shutting the door, and then grabbing the handle to make sure the door in fact locked caught up with her.
She did not realize every time she grabbed the handle to test the lock. She was unlocking the door.
