PSA: Remote Connect can be used without a key fob (if you've activated your digital key through the app)

Do you know if the non premiums can buy and add this key? Asked my dealer but he didn’t know and never got back to me.

I have no idea buddy. Call a different dealership and inquire. I personally don't understand why it would not work if you have a push button start. I was using it without my key fob for a while but I had to always manually lock my vehicle to exit because my truck will not automatically lock unless I've used the key fob to unlock it. I don't think it's meant to be that way

I disabled my trials and data transmission because they don't tell you, but they send your driving habits to insurance and conveniently raise your rates.

Do we really need to spread more lies?

They transmit it to Toyota for them to understand the usage (or non usage) of the vehicle and it's functionality.

They do not send it to your insurance (which could be one of thousands of companies)

Or you directly authorize (separately) for them to send to Progressive if you want to do their option of driving habit based rates (which they offer separately with an odb plug or I think via mobile app tracking of your acellerometer as well)

(Your statement reads like all the plumbing in your house is broken because your sink faucet has a small drip)
