Does anyone think Toyota will end up lowering the prices for the 4th gen Tacomas?

At my local dealer they have had like 10 on the lot for a while. All lower trims. I do think the demand is weak, but we are still in the early adopter/enthusiast period with the Tacoma and will be most of the year. At least for the upper trims and hybrids.
People spending this kind of money want features. I bit the bullet and spent the $11k (CAD) on the Premium Package because if I'm spending $55k on a truck, I'm not settling for a base model. I'd rather spend more and actually get all the creature comforts that make it livable.

Zero regrets on that decision.

Hi all,

I swear every day I see a new YouTube video or post about the pricing of the new Tacomas. It seems that the community is pretty unhappy with the pricing, specifically on the TRD Pro.

That being said, do you think Toyota is going to take any action such as lowering prices on the 4th gen? Or potentially offering the TRD Pro without the iso dynamic seats to save $$$?
NO

The narrative that Toyota is the only one out of control is really not true. You want a Bison? It's well into the mid $60k range. Ranger Raptor looks like it's near $60k as well. They're all doing it. As I said in a post on TW...

Don't hate the player, hate the game.
Right? Everyone trashing Tacoma pricing obviously has not done an accurate comparison

Wil Toyota reduce will lower the prices?

I was at a dealer today. Last week, they had seven new Tacos. Today, just one. They've got five low-mileage 2023s they have taken in on trade, sitting and looking pretty. (And all were about $46G.)

Why would Toyota lower prices when they can't keep them on the lots?

The prices won't change. They will offer financing and/or rebates to start. Any discounts right now are a local market decision since there appears to be no nation program being offered.
