How is it activated

The drive control dial. You turn it to the desired mode. Normal is default. It will stay in ECO after a restart but not if in Sport. Sport will default back to normal after a restart.

Hmm, thats not how my (Canadian model) SR5 works, I have three modes, normal, Tow/haul, and ECT PWR. The Tow/haul, and ECT PWR buttons toggle on/off, I'm not able to cycle through anything like sport, comfort, eco, custom etc
