Yea, but I paid a lot less than you did. Paying over $62,000 for a SR5 is ridiculous.

47k sticker price added paint warranty for paint jobs from dealer since weather here is harsh was 5k that’s 52k plus dealer add ons and California taxes I don’t live in the middle of nowhere like other guys here in this page. It was almost 62 there is a pro with a few things on it for 100k in San Diego I didn’t feel as bad lol have a nice day crusty taco lover

Ah. Makes sense now. You bought something you didn’t want.

Weird to focus on the payment instead of total cost. Real easy for a sales manager to just write up a 80 month loan to get you under your monthly -- but your total cost is going to be insane.

Decide what you can afford to pay, then look for vehicles that have the features you want for that price. Interest cost is real cost on top of the truck.

Let’s be a bit mindful about OP and that he is being honest. The guy has a high interest rate and he admits it, unlike most people who just write to talk. In my line of experience, I say he should save up some extra cash and rig out his truck the way he wants it so he can enjoy it by the time he pays it off he will laugh at this thread and say how much he loves his taco.

Interesting. I own a SR with 4WD xtracab and 6 bed. Love it. The head lights tilt up and down. There is the advanced cruise control that can be turned off to work like regular speed control. It’s got CarPlay. It has a gun rack on the truck bed wall in the back of the cab. It’s got electric windows and doors that open when I approach the truck. Aftermarket parts attach fairly easily because the Tacoma has pre drilled holes all over the place even in the fire walls.


I remember buying trucks in the 70’s and this is far far far away from being a rental truck.
