You can order them through the dealer or there are a ton of aftermarket items.

I am getting the color matched door edge guards from Toyota, since they are a port installed "option" on my truck. My wife's Lexus SUV has them and they are a perfect color match to the body and look good.

Might I trouble you for a picture or two? Thank you.

Here you go - happy to help. If I remember correctly they are stainless steel and should hold up very well.

I have them on my TH.

didn’t originally want them, but I don’t mind them now. They are slightly misaligned, so if that bothers you you may want to rethink.

I also heard they essentially mallet it the to the door so it made me worry about damage, but mine look fine.

They were on my wife's car already when we bought it, so we had no choice. I also wondered about any damage to the paint, so I never looked into removing them. I am guessing that the paint on the door edges would have to be repaired if they were taken off.

They are a port option on my Pro and I don't think I can change that, although I didn't want them to start with. But now that I am gettings arranged in my garage space will be tight, so I probably actually need them. and I agree that they look fine.

🙋 Alright dumb question, what exactly is the purpose of these?

I didn’t notice them till I saw this must have been on my build sheet. I only was concerned about getting the 6MT. I had a big ole door on a 1984 Oldsmobile delta 88 rip out of my hand in a blizzard and get mangled so I always am aware of my doors opening and closing.

The purpose is to protect the edge of the doors if you open them into something. I thought who needs that, because I am careful with my truck? But my new house has a much smaller garage and I will be opening my door into a tight space and I might actually need them now.

I think they are a common port option. My salesperson said she hadn't seen any Toyotas without them in a long time.

I also have the OEM bronze oxide edge guards on my TRD OR. Same - didn't want them originally, but now glad I got them.

When I had PPF installed, the shop was going to remove them and install clear ones the full length of the door, but the installer decided not to because he thought removing them would damage the paint. So, they just installed clear on the lower part of the doors. Either is fine, but the OEM guards are beefier.
