Anyone else genuinely impressed with how the 4G Tacoma handles itself on the road? I’m coming from a 3 series BMW and while it’s clearly no comparison it’s certainly a far cry from the typical “truck” dynamics. Half ton pick ups drive like a boat in comparison. Loving this chassis, engine, and tranny combination

I totally agree!! Had previous Gens Tacomas and a 24 Tundra. None handled that well. I live in the mountains and was able to tell the difference right away. I am not a driving dynamics engineer but I can assume it has to do with the north south engine lay out inline 4 cylinder and not a boat anchor V6 hanging over the front axles.

Yeah, my truck's on road behavior is amazing. I like firm, tight handling and to me this truck is just about perfect. I came out of a Tundra which felt like a boat in comparison. This is the first truck I have owned that feels as good on the highway as a nice car does.
