Find my keys Toyota

Before you shoot this thread down in flames I have AirTags on my keys and dog.
But if we can use our Toyota App to remotely turn on our truck, why not find our keys.
I guess it would have to do with the inability to set the HOME or WORK or Favorites in the App.
Fix that too Toyota.

Because your key fob transmits at a tiny amount of wattage and doesn't know where it's at (no GPS chip) so it couldn't transmit its location.

Yeah, but the Airtag has software that connects to any iPhone and the iPhone shows the location of where it came in Blutetooth range of the Airtag. Keyfobs don't have that software.

How do you guys carry your key fob? This is my first push to start vehicle it’s a bit of a learning curve. I constantly leave the fob in the cupholder. I’d run a carabiner and clip it to my belt loop like I’m use to but I’m nervous I’ll break this thing

you leave it in your pocket and completely forget it exists until you switch jackets and get mad the key wasnt already in your new jacket lmao

I clip it on my belt loop. I also have my topper key and the tailgate key is built inside the FOB.
