I recently experienced a disappointing and frustrating situation with @CBI Offroad regarding their Super Stock Front Bumper for my TrailHunter. As a customer, I expect timely and professional communication, but unfortunately, CBI Offroad has fallen short in this regard.

On Friday, February 7th, CBI Offroad reached out to me via text regarding a purchase (1:54pst) I had already made for their Super Stock Front Bumper. I promptly responded, seeking confirmation of the fitment for my vehicle. However, to my dismay, my response was ignored, and I have yet to receive any further communication from them.

This lack of response is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful to customers who have already invested in their products. As a result, I highly discourage anyone from doing business with CBI Offroad. Their poor customer service and lack of communication are clear indicators that they do not prioritize their customers.

In conclusion, I strongly recommend seeking alternative companies that value their customers and provide the quality service we deserve. Avoid the frustration and disappointment by steering clear of CBI Offroad.

I purchased a bumper from an online retailer. The website prominently displayed pictures of the bumper installed on a truck, showcasing its compatibility. Crucially, there were no disclaimers or exclusions mentioned about the specific truck models it fits.

This visual representation led me to believe that the bumper was suitable for my truck model. Since no exclusion of model trucks was posted, I had no reason to suspect otherwise. This expectation of compatibility was an important factor in my decision to buy the bumper. And yes it already shipped and received.

So you reached out at 2:40 (they're in colorado) on this last Friday and haven't heard back? It hasn't even been 24 business hours... chill. You also bought from a 3rd party, so contact that third party as well. They carry responsibility for what they advertise, not CBI. They make things and sell them direct, so I don't know why you'd go through someone else, but that's me.




I have had a great experience working with them in the past, but they seem to be growing so fast they are trying to keep up while keeping quality high.

CBI is amazing. I used their sliders on my 23 bronco and will on my 24 tacoma. They outperform and the 5% (I forget which is the higher angle) is unmatched.

Yes, they are busy. They are a smaller, independent outfit and their products are so good they're swamped. They could use some customer service folks, that's a fact, but once you get what you ordered it's great stuff. Give it a few days. I know bronco forums had them so busy they had to set an expected response time of like a week because they were so overwhelmed. The new tacoma is doing the same thing.

I don't work for them, I have no ties beyond loving their sliders. I had very responsive companies (looking at you victory offroad) with bad products. I'd prefer CBI over the alternative.

I reached out on Tuesday via the website. I received an text from them on Friday at the time I stated I responded to them but they just left me hanging. You sure you don't work for them lol?

I don't respond to my own mother in a few hours sometimes. If you're west coast that last text was 3 pm on a Friday. I'm going to guess they don't live on their phones, the build products. Yeah, they need service reps, but technical questions about fitment and stuff, you got to give these small companies grace.

If you don't know if it fits, and someone else shows it doesn't, they need to check I'd imagine.

Who did you buy it from? They seem like the problem if they don't let you know it does or does not fit your model.

I've had the same experience with them regarding trying to get more info on the fitment of the Covert bumper for the Trailhunter and their customer service and respond time is poor.

Pretty sure the winch was contacting the grille shutters, not the bumper itself.

They built me a one-of-a-kind front bumper skid plate bumper that I designed myself, 15 years ago.

Shipped to local trucking company dock, where I picked it up, including rear tire carrier bumper.

Wife and I installed in a few hours both of them.
