Gas tank skid plate protection

Do any trims come with gas tank protection?
Thats a pretty big target under the truck.

Any experience with how much of a hit those tanks can take?
Looks like it'll take some abuse.

It would be great to have for some bigger cities that are dealing with gas tanks being drilled into. I haven’t looked under my OR

I have a 6 foot bed on my OR, and it seems that all of the tank protectors out there seem to be for the 5 foot beds. Not sure if there is a difference between the 5 or 6 foot beds as far these skid plates go, but I have left some messages with a few of the companies, and I'm waiting for them to get back to me before buying.

Not only is it plastic (beefier plastic with bracing don't get me wrong), it also does not come with the replacement fuel tank strap with mounting studs. That has to be purchased separately. Or the nuts for mounting it to the fuel tank strap that it doesn't come with.
