Now that I've done my first oil change I have a question for you. My Fumoto drain hose connector is brass, and as I was reinstalling my Victory 4x4 skid plate, the drain hose adaptor popped off the drain valve. Is there a secret to keeping the drain hose adaptor on the valve?
On a previous car, I'm pretty sure I used a 3/8" hose that required a heat gun to get onto the nipple, and then it was tight once it cooled. Given that you're mounting kind of permanently, maybe a hose clamp is a viable solution.

I went with the OEM Trailhunter plates. Incredibly easy to install and reasonably priced (IIRC about $800 for the set). Fit is perfect with some nice slotted bolt holes to help align and get in place -- super helpful if you're installing it solo. It took about 30 minutes to do. Your trim level will require an extra crossmember piece (available online at a variety of places)

Photo is TRD Off-Road composite plates on the right and trailhunter steel parts on the left.
