Can’t remember how I named my thread, I think it had something like fit and finish. A friend laughed when he got into my truck and rubbed up against it, I saw and heard it for the first time that day. Someone mentioned that it was a knee protection feature.

I hope the windshield doesn't have a "head protection feature"! Other than the airbag.

Possibly a reason for QC delays. Just needs a rubber bumper. Even a soft bumper for ’’knee protection” still would be much better. I see that being a hot fix TSB.

I have owned several first generation vehicles. My 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 had tons of issues. Always at the dealer. For me not an issue as I often get new vehicles every few years. My current ’21 Tacoma has been the longest I’ve kept in a while.
