Hi Tacoma4g,

New to Tacos. Truckless for the last two years, last one was a 16’ Tundra DC Pro. I’m enjoying the new Taco but I wanted to give it more presence.

Just got back from Discount Tires and wanted to share my new wheel/tire setup. Required no modifications or removal of any OEM parts

2024 Toyota Tacoma Offroad w/ 5’ bed
- completely stock suspension
- no cutting or crash bar removal

Tires: 285/70/17 Toyo Open Country AT3
- standard load, not 6, 8, or 10 ply

Wheels: 17x8.5” Method MR305 NV Black
- +25 offset

Well here are some of the mods that I have done to my 2024 Tacoma Off-Road

-added Falken Wildpeak ATW4 tires
-Icon Rebound Pro wheels +25mm offset
-Toyota Tacoma Black chrome exhaust tip
-Limo tint
-plasti-dip the chrome toyota emblem
-Beat-Sonic plug-in-play amplifier (the premium JBL audio was ok, but this gave it some pop)
-Have Westcott designs preload collar lift kit on order

I just finished clay barring and ceramic coating her. What a pita. The detailer at the dealer sucked and left an over spray of wax or something in a lot of places.

I started shopping for a new vehicle to replace my 2007 Nissan Xterra with 165,000 miles a few months ago. She was still running strong but I felt like it was time. I've driven everything from the Ranger, Canyon, Colorado and even some full size pickups. I felt like that Ranger/Canyon/Colorado just did not have the interior space I wanted and needed. Then I remembered that the Tacoma got redesigned and went to my local dealer's website and it looked like they might have some on the lot. So I went down and drove one. I immediately fell in love. It solved all the weird annoyances I had with everything else I drove. A few days later I purchased a 2024 Tacoma TRD Off Road in Ice Cap with a 6' bed. Two weeks later took it to Moab and fell in love with it even more.

Yeah still needs a little cleaning up. I ran two 6ga wires from the battery. They go to a circuit breaker and a Blue Sea Fuse Panel. Then wired up a relay that is triggered from an ignition fuse tap with provides power to the second fuse panel. I cut two pieces of HDPE that fit in the bottom of both sides of the storage box and everything is mounted to those. This leaves the driver side storage wide open for use. It's a snug fit haha.
