I've had my OR Taco for 4 months now and I don't mind the small 8" screen. I hardly use it anyway, but I do hate the tiny volume knob because when I adjust the volume I always inadvertently touch the screen . . . I'm wondering if I can get a larger knob . . . maybe the 12" screen knob? Does anyone know if it will fit? Or maybe other options?

I think I'd get used to steering wheel controls before I bothered with changing the knob.

I've been meaning to look further, but I've seen two options that I like. One is a Rav4 knob and the other is a machined aluminum.

Can't find the links right off, but the machined seems like it's a quality item. They're both larger and easier to actually use.

I'm used to using the steering wheel buttons but sometimes my left hand is not available and the knob is easier with the right hand.

Put a Ranger band on it. It will increase the diameter and give you more grip.
That's a good idea . . . I could use one that is long enough to put another round object inside of it. Then it would protrude farther. My problem isn't the diameter per say but more so the proximity to the screen . . . I want it to stick out more.

Yes, I keep hearing about the rav4 option. It looks nice but how hard is it to switch out. Do I just pull the old one off . . . I'd be afraid to break something.

Yes, it does just pull off. Easy replacement, I did it on my truck.
