You are misunderstanding what those do.

it’s an entirely separate operating system. The box is essentially turning the screen into a google tablet allowing you to use apps you can’t normally on android auto and Apple CarPlay.

It’s a stand alone unit, it doesn’t interface with your iPhone. It’s a box (3rd party box)that has an andriod operating system on it. Apple would never allow their operating system onto a 3rd party box like android does. Apple only allows their operating system onto apple products.

Well technically it does interface with the iPhones WiFi/Bluetooth in order to connect to the systems, but you’re right it doesn’t connect to iOS as that’s impossible.

it’s a cool product though and I’ll probably buy one

Sure, agree - id Think if could run on its own if it was able to get a wifi signal. we‘re on the same page for sure, there’s now way you’d EVER get a product like that with iOS on it.

I got this one. I’ve had no problems with. I live in Los Angeles traffic. I watched most of the Dodger World Series in my truck lol
