Got MCX skid plate added this afternoon and am very happy w/it. Since I only had the fiberboard cover on my truck, definitely wanted to add some better protection than what it came with. My primary reason for getting this one was how accessible both the drain plug and oil filter are without needing to remove the whole plate every time I change oil (below are pics of both). The install was easy and thought seeing some pics may be of use to any of you guys that may be interested. The last pic is the part you will need if you didn't get a Tacoma equipped w/ cross member (I think OR, TH, and PRO have them already and the rest of us need this part so I included the pic for reference).

I like the look of this skid plate but I don’t like the price. I’ll stick with my plastic skid plates till I can find one at a decent price.

They're not inexpensive, but this one was $399 + free shipping which I thought was fair considering the quality.

Nice! I have the skid plate and catalytic cover arriving Monday. As far as the price goes in my opinion it is a good value. I shopped around for price and functionality. This brand has been around for a while, made in America and offered the best access to oil filter and drain plug. You’re not going to find a less expensive cover with the quality Miller puts out there.

Thanks guys for the positive comments---- appreciate the feedback.

@SP4RUNNER: I used the F103N version of the Fumoto.

Thanks for posting! I’ve been looking for skid plates that don’t need to be completely removed for an oil change. Did not come across this brand in my research!

I like the way this skid plate looks and the access to oil filter and drain. I was wondering, will this work if you want to leave on the chin spoiler. Please no comments on the way the chin looks. I have looked at other skid plates and one can't leave it on. Thanks
