Issue engaging 4h while driving

I have manual trd off road . I just wanted to try engaging 4h while driving straight . When engaged i felt lot of vibration and sound coming so i went back to 2h . Then i stopped and engaged 4 h and started driving it drove complete fine . I did let off the gas pedal while to engage 4 h . Am i doing something wrong . As per manual its ok to shift from 2h to 4 h while driving below 60 mph .

you should be fine with what you are doing but first time may be a little rough. Try it again and I bet it smooths outs.
