$1200 is what he charged$200 is a bit steep, for everything you did, I would’ve charged about $1200. I wrapped a “color flip” the other day for a Civic that wanted to go from blue to a neochrome green/purple so I ended up wrapping the door jambs too so it didn’t look half-assed. Now if he had gone white or black to another color, that’s easier since it’s a complimentary color. What people don’t understand (he didn’t) when I did the initial quote was $7500 ($4000 for material and the $2000 in labor), many shops don’t but I do req 3 days… the first to take everything apart like headlights and taillights, body kit, wing, door handles, debadging, etc, then full alcohol bath detail, the second is to do the wrap and third to finish wrapping it up (pun intended) then reassemble. If you leave something simple like a body kit or wing on, when the car flexes or twists, it pulls and wrinkles. Then he understood. For yours, I would’ve used a plotter for the doors, wrapped the roof with Edge Seal tape and not had to disassemble anything but still give it a bath, plus incl a bottle of vinyl detailer and how to clean it properly. Do yourself a favor, on Amazon or even ExtremeTerrain, there’s a Chemical Guys product I suggest you use to keep the vinyl looking new and extend the life. Try it on your roof and you’ll see how beautiful it stays.
