Limited owners - Seats stiff - Uncomfortable?

Hi everyone. I have had a limited since August. I like the truck overall but after 30-45 minutes in the front seats, I get uncomfortable and things start getting sore. I am only 44, no real back problems. The seats don’t seem cushy & kind of hard. Is it just me?

I’m 57 and find the Limited seats pretty comfy. Did a 13 hour day a few weeks ago and had no issues. It took me playing with the adjustments to find the sweet spot

Im very fussy about seat comfort in vehicles and at home.

No complaints about my limited seats.

Maybe height makes a difference. Im 5'11'

I am 56 and have no issues with comfort at all. I tweaked the seat settings to my liking and all is good. A 10 hour round trip drive last weekend and all was good.

My wife and I both think my Limited seats are very comfortable.

I have a sport premium, so the same softex seats as the limited. When I first got the truck I never had any issues with the seats, but now over the last 5k miles (16k total on the truck) I have gotten really uncomfortable after just 25 minutes. The seats seam very firm, but I think the issue for me is more so that the lumbar support does not seem to adjust all the way in. When I adjust it all the way in, I can still feel it pushing into my back. Every vehicle I drive, I always adjust the lumbar all the way in so you cant even feel it, but on this truck, all the way in still feels like its partially out, and it is brutal. I am not convinced it is supposed to be that way, like something is broken, but I have not been able to drive another Tacoma with the same seats yet. Feels weird to go into the dealer and ask to drive a brand new truck from the lot, just because I think mine is uncomfortable. Has anybody else had this lumbar problem?

I find the LTD seats very comfortable and we have both been able to adjust to our liking.


... Just wish there was a memory feature for when the dealership or mechanic feel the uncanny need to slide the seat all the way back and lean it way back... Would be nice to hit a bottom to put it back rather than have to spend time in the parking lot working to get it dialed back in.

That Toyota didn't put seat memory in the Limited is just criminal. It annoys the hell of our me as my wife drives the truck regularly.
