Hi, long time lurker who just joined. I think we need a master dealer list combining the work that some members have already posted from calling around. Please list the dealership, whether they've committed to MSRP or markup/ADM and the deposit amount.

I want to order a 2024 Tacoma TRD PRO but realize that there will be waitlists, limited allocations, and dealers that play games and charge over MSRP

What Toyota dealers in Southern Ontario, Canada have you dealt with and would recommend that sell for MSRP, have good amount of allocations and don't play games.

I am located in Niagara Region

Well I didn't have very good luck today trying to place a deposit. For the record I am in NY (Long Island).


Sansone - Claimed they are not taking deposits. I even showed them a pic of the person on the list from this forum. They said that was absolutely false.


Lexington - Spoke to a Sales manager and got a firm no. He said they will not accept any deposits for anyone out of state, and that if anyone says they did they are not being honest.


Harr - Again Sales Manager said they will not accept deposits from anyone out of state for the TRD Pro.


Herb Chambers - Said they are not taking deposits


Stokes - They accepted my deposit, but I am #6 on the list, and I don't think they are that big of a dealer. Doesn't seem like they will get that many allocations, and the sales rep couldn't even give me an estimate of how many they will get.

Hey hit up Holman Toyota in Mt Laurel NJ. Close by you and they were hot to trot to take a deposit IF i was local, so that should work for you.

Thanks, I will give it a try but the MA dealers were actually closer to me (~2 hours away) than this NJ dealer (~3 hours away). But it's certainly worth a shot. I grew up in NJ, maybe that will persuade them. But it seems like people are prejudice against NY people or something. They just give me firm no's like "Get off my phone, city slicker!" lol. Even though I don't live in the city and grew up in the boonies...

Emailed him @ 7:23 this morning and never even mentioned where I was from just a friendly email stating I wanted to place a deposit on a 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro.

No reply from him.

It's amazing how hard it's been trying to get in line for a new Tacoma. It was way easier when I got bought my C8 out of state (1 year wait).

Also have deposits on a new Z06 and Eray. Zero difficulties, and zero prejudice toward anyone out of state!

* When my wife and I were looking for a Sienna in the spring/summer, most, if not all of the CT and MA dealers were only selling to in-state residents. Not sure if that's changed in the last six months but it might be a question you want to ask when you call dealers.

Lia Toyota in Wilbraham MA has a white off-road. Pulled up next to it, then it left on a test drive.. Wanted to take a picture next to my 22 Off-road. Anyhow, I've had Tacoma's for 25 years. Not really that impressed. Looking forward to the Landcruiser - I think that's what I am going to get.
