hi,
l got a 2024 SR5 for some reason l cannot seem to have the miles/km of range updated once l get fuel…

this started to happen when i changed from 245/70/R17 HW toyo (factory) to 285/70/R17 MT these were too rough and big. Also it’s when i noticed the inconsistency.

Those were very bad for my liking and driving..

Then switched to 265/70/R17 RT and these are way better but still get fuel around 4-6 gallons and marks 40miles it for sure gives me more than that but l can only guide myself how much gas l got when l get in reserve

This happened to me early on. Are you leaving the power/auxiliary on while filling up? If you are be sure to shut off the power/radio etc while it’s filling.

I haven’t heard or read anyone else say this so I don’t know if it’s common or not but the two times I listened to the radio while filling up I had this issue. The first time I was nearly convinced I’d been had by chevron but it finally updated after about 20 minutes of driving then turning ignition off and back on.

second time I made the connection to leaving the power running. Hasn’t happened since. Hope this helps.

Fuel gauge and driving range
display
The fuel gauge and driving range
display are linked. If the fuel gauge
and driving range display do not
update after refueling a small
amount, they can be updated by
performing the following procedure:
1 Stop the vehicle on a level surface.
Wait until the fuel in the fuel tank
stabilizers.
2 Turn the engine switch off.
3 While pressing and holding
of the meter control switch, turn
the engine switch to ON.
4 Continue holding of the
meter control switch for approximately
5 seconds.
Release the button when the odometer
begins blinking.
Updating will be complete when the
odometer blinks for approximately 5
seconds and then returns to the normal
display.

--Now if there were just a way to reset the stupid DTE calculation. Most people complain that there is too much reserve when they get near "0". I'm seeing the opposite. I usually get 23+ mpg. Then I go on a freeway trip and get 19-20. DTE is still thinking "23-24". I don't dare go to 0, and I worry about going below 1/4 tank if I'm not carrying extra gas.

Center control on the left side of the steering wheel. Normal use is to customize the display.

Edit: Also, do NOT start the vehicle. Press start twice with foot off the brake.
