MPG keeps improving

Right at 4 thousand miles and my mpg keeps getting better. 225 mile trip through the mountains of north Georgia in sport mode and averaged 22.8. Couldn't be happier.

That is good news indeed! I only have about 600 miles on mine. One of the reasons I bought the Tacoma over a ZR2 Bison or Ranger Raptor was the EPA mileage claims while still having loads of power when you want to play.

Good show. I'm at 5.5k and 19.7 mpg overall since day one. But that has been over a winter and with quite a bit of town driving as well as trailer towing.

Summer fuel blend and warmer temps, and probably break in? Mine did really well last summer 20-22, winter was 16-18, now 19.5 but it’s been a cool windy spring.

I love the torque in this truck. I pushed the shit out of it coming up the mountains. I was impressed.

4k miles in and I’m at 20.4. My experience is turbo trucks respond better with warmer temps. The mpg drops with really cold temperatures. It’s not the “winter blend” gas. It’s the air temperature on how the truck responds and crosswinds.

My NA Tundra 14mpg in the summer 10 in the winter, RAV4 hybrid 40mpg summer 34 in the winter

The boosted taco does feel more peppy with the cold dense air though

Most if not all Turbo's respond better with cooler temps.. congrats OP on the mileage uptick
