Thankfully I didn't get in too big of a hurry to purchase a phone mount I would end up not liking. After searching off and on for a few months and searching Tacoma forums and Facebook groups for advice on phone mounts, I finally found this mount from OffRoam. I knew before finding this mount the placement was exactly what I wanted, but I didn't know how I was going to accomplish it. Well, OffRoam did it for me. Kudos to them for creating this mount. It is perfect for what I wanted/needed. Installation is extremely easy and it is very sturdy. My phone does not bounce or wobble at all. Great mount!!!

I like that. A little pricy for me, but the video gave me an idea (mounting area) to make my own.

Looks great. I really like that mount but I want a charging magsafe holder and that adds an extra $80 - gets a little crazy to have a $160 phone mount. I'm currently using the adhesive mounted one from Valenti Design with my own charging holder and it's working pretty good but I know the adhesive mounting isn't the most reliable especially with the summer heat. As soon as it fails I'll likely be jumping to this one.

I know right. I never had much luck, long term, with adhesives or suction cups in the heat. On my Rubicon I had Bullet Point mounts and those were super solid. I agree a MagSafe charger would be nice but I plug mine into the data port anyway. The wireless CarPlay had connectivity issues in my taco. Plus, I’ll never connect my phone wirelessly to a vehicle again. If you come across an emergency and are outside your vehicle while it’s still running and try making a call to 911 or whatever, you can’t hear the call because it’s using the microphone and speakers inside the vehicle. Learned this by experience.
